General Terms and Conditions
AlsoShop.com's owner and administrative staff reserve the right to amend these rules at any time. If you do not agree to these rules, please do not use this site.

AlsoShop.com is intended to be a friendly, enjoyable and useful experience, but as with anything concerning any kind of transactions there are risks involved and we strongly advise you to understand all of these terms before joining. If you spot a listing that you feel is violating the general terms and conditions of this web-site as stated below please let us know by contacting us.

Seller's Verification
All sellers must be PayPal verified. This is a $2.50 non-refundable verification fee. Becoming verified helps ensure us, and our buyers, that you are who you say you are and not a fictitious computer identity. If you do not have a PayPal account, please register at PayPal.com and complete the process, it will take about 4 days. PayPal is the only verification process that is accepted at the present time. This process is non-negotiable, please do not waste your time and ours with wanting to use another method. As a seller, you may accept a variety of payment methods.

Listing Policy
All items listed must meet the regulations of the various online payment gateways such as Google CheckOut and PayPal. All items listed must be submittable and acceptable to Google Shopping and various other shopping aggregates.

Adult Related Items: Images or content which is adult and/or sexual in nature and/or inappropriate for people under 18 or involving minors, or showing non-consensual acts or imitation of non-consensual acts such as bondage, or for the promotion of prostitution or pornography are not allowed on AlsoShop.com, including anatomical replicate devices, aids, and gadgets. You must not list items that are considered to be indecent by Federal and State laws and/or illegal to sell in the United States. Age restricted or inappropriate items in designated Children's (PG 13 or lower) categories will be removed without warning. This will be strictly enforced.

Age Appropriate: Items not specifically designated as appropriate for children will not be allowed in Children's related categories.

Alcohol: Consumable alcoholic beverages, or herbal tinctures made with alcohol that cannot be sold to people under the age of 21 may not be sold on AlsoShop.com.

Animals, Animal Products, Organs or any Body Parts: Any illegal, endangered animal or wildlife products, internal organs including human parts & remains, or live animals may not be sold on AlsoShop.com.

Authentic and Designer Replicas: Brand name items sold on AlsoShop.com must be accompanied by proof of authenticity and provide Administrator with receipts, if requested. Such proof of authenticity must be clearly stated in the listing description. Listings that are suspect of perpetrating fraud will be removed without notice or refund.

Digital Material: Items that can be downloaded (digital) can only be listed on AlsoShop.com by sellers that own the material or are authorized to distribute such material. All videos, games, movies, sound recordings and programs must be original and must comply with The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Drugs/Controlled Substances: Any controlled substance, prescription pharmaceuticals, restricted or illegal herbs, drug related paraphernalia, drug testing circumvention or common chemicals and/or over the counter drugs used in the production of illegal drugs may not be sold or listed on AlsoShop.com.

Duplicate Listings: In order to alleviate number inflating, listings may be duplicated 3 listings only. If you have more duplicate items to list, please put them in a dutch auction listing with buy-now options.

Embargoed Items: Items that have import embargo restrictions coming from foreign countries placed by the Federal Government.

Fireworks: Fireworks of any kind may not be listed on AlsoShop.com

Import Items Service: We will import your items from various websites, the items will be placed in a holding category. After importing you will want to edit your items to move them to item specific sub-categories within 30 days of the import.

Links: Links to Websites or pages that offer to trade, barter, sell, and/or purchase goods or services outside of AlsoShop.com are prohibited including links to sites that offer items for sale, trade or barter of items specifically prohibited for sale on AlsoShop.com. This applies to a static URL, an active link, text link, non-active text link, and graphics or images that contain an off-site name or personal contact info on them. Hidden links or text that has been altered or coded to be invisible is not allowed.

Lock Picking Devices: Lock picking or lock smith devices, jimmies, key cutters, may not be listed on AlsoShop.com

Magazine Subscriptions: Due to the lag time between payment to delivery, magazine subscriptions are not allow. However, back issues of most magazines will be allowed.

Noxious/Poisonous Plants and/or Seeds: Before listing plants or seeds ensure you are aware and up-to-date with the current legislation for noxious/poisonous plants and/or seeds. Plants and/or seeds that are officially listed as noxious/poisonous may not be listed on AlsoShop.com. Restrictions on shipping live plants to various states or countries must be followed.

Other Items: Any and all items deemed inappropriate, immoral, unlawful, or questionable by AlsoShop.com, shall not be listed on AlsoShop.com Any listed items that are in violation of the Listing Policy and/or Terms of Service will be edited for content or suspended at the discretion of the owner of AlsoShop.com

Payment and Shipping Information: Any payment due, Terms of Sale, and shipping charges shall be disclosed in the appropriate fields in listing page. Any payment information, payment gateway, link, personal information, email address that circumvents the checkout at AlsoShop.com is not allowed.

Police and Emergency Services Related Items: Official Police or Emergency services equipment related items regardless of origin (other countries) may not be listed on AlsoShop.com

Real Estate: Real estate Time-Shares and other dwellings may not be listed on AlsoShop.com.

Stolen Goods: Goods to which you are not the legal owner and/or which you are not legally entitled to sell may not be listed on AlsoShop.com

Templates: Templates containing javascript, iframes, links or advertising to other sites may not be used at AlsoShop.com. Template designer's name only can appear in the template for copyright purposes.

Tickets Over Face Value: Tickets re-sold beyond their face value may not be listed on AlsoShop.com.

Tobacco: Tobacco which includes cigarettes, cigars, and smokeless tobacco or other items regulated with age restrictions and/or by the USATFE (United States Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives) may not be listed on AlsoShop. Tobacco related items such as pocket or purse cigarette cases, lighters and other accessories may be listed, provided these items can be transported by common carrier.

Used Cosmetics: Used cosmetics of any kind may not be listed on AlsoShop, however, collectable perfume/cosmetic bottles may be sold.

Weapons and Firearms: Weapons and Firearms, regulated by the USATFE, including weapons rendered inoperable, may not be listed on AlsoShop.com. Knives/swords which comply with current Federal and State laws may be listed.

Rights To Suspend or Terminate:
You agree that this web-site, in its own discretion, may terminate any auction or use of the service immediately and without notice if
(a) We believe that you are not abiding by the general rules of this web-site
(b) You have repeatedly broken a certain term
(c) You have listed a suspicious item
(d) We believe you to be a non paying bidder
(e) You have used programming, techniques, or links, that circumvent or by-pass any part or parts of AlsoShop.com's income producing programming, causing loss of income and/or service fees to AlsoShop.com, or have caused programming/scripting errors.

In most cases when we suspect foul play we will suspend your account/listing whilst we investigate further. If our investigation is conclusive then your account with us will be terminated.

Your Conduct.
You are solely responsible for the contents of your actions through this web-site. You must ensure that your participation in the selling or buying of items does not violate any applicable laws or regulations. By this we mean that you must check that you entitled to sell or buy the relevant item and that you are not prohibited from doing so by any law or regulation.
You must not transmit through the service any unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable material. You must also not transmit any material that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable law or regulation.

Membership.
Membership to this web-site is only available to those you can form a legally binding contract. This web-site does not permit minors (under 18) to register. If any member fails to signup with their correct age the account will be terminated immediately.

General Terms.
This site acts as the window for sellers to conduct auctions and for bidders to bid on sellers' auctions. We are not involved in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. As a result, we have no control over the quality, safety or legality of the items listed the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of sellers to sell items or the ability of buyers to buy items. We cannot and do not control whether or not sellers will complete the sale of items they offer or buyers will complete the purchases of items they have bid on.

In addition, note that there are risks of dealing with foreign nationals, underage persons or people acting under false pretence.

This Web-site shall not be responsible for any items sold by Auction, for any damage to items during transit or during the inspection period, nor for misrepresentations and/or breaches of contract by either buyer and/or seller. This web-site shall not be responsible for the cost of procurement of substitute goods or any losses resulting form any goods purchased or obtained.

This web-site assumes no liability for the content of the listings. However if you fall victim of a fraudulent transaction we will assist you as much as we can.

Laws.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of California and U.S.A. and any disputes will be decided only by the Courts of California.
